Xiaomi to launch Mi 11 Lite in India on June 22: Here’s what to expect
Mi 11 Lite is touted as the “slimmest and lightest” smartphone of 2021 by Xiaomi. It comes with 5G, a 90Hz display, 4,250mAh battery and up to 8GB of RAM.
Xiaomi has announced that it is launching the Mi 11 Lite smartphone in India. Mi 11 Lite will make its debut in India on June 22 at 12 pm. Xiaomi had been dropping hints on the phone's India launch and it has finally made it official. Mi 11 Lite launched earlier this year in March alongside the Mi 11 Ultra, and Mi 11i.
Xiaomi is expected to host a virtual event for the Mi 11 Lite launch. The smartphone is touted as the “slimmest and lightest” smartphone of 2021. It is 6.81mm slim and 157g light. Mi 11 Lite also comes in 4G and 5G variants but there's no confirmation on whether both the models will be launched in India. There isn't much difference between the two phones though.
Mi 11 Lite specifications
The Mi 11 Lite features a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It comes with 6GB and 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.The smartphone also houses a side fingerprint sensor as well as support for face unlock. Both phones also pack a 4,250mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. On the Mi 11 Lite 4G you get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor. The 5G variant is powered by the Snapdragon 780G processor.
In the photography department, the Mi 11 Lite features a triple camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, and a 5-megapixel tele macro lens. The difference is in the selfie camera. The Mi 11 Lite 4G model features a 16-megapixel front camera. You get a 20-megapixel front camera on the Mi 11 Lite 5G. On the software front, both phones run MIUI 12 with Android 11. Connectivity options include NFC, dual SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and a USB Type-C port.
