Xiaomi Mi 11 vs Mi 10: What has changed?

Xiaomi today unveiled its next-generation flagship smartphone the Xiaomi Mi 11 in China today. The newly launched smartphone starts at RMB 3,999 ( ₹44,980 approximately) and it will be available for pre-orders in Mainland China starting 10PM (GMT+8) today.
Interestingly, the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 11 comes just eight months after the company introduced its Mi 10 series smartphones consisting of the Mi 10 and the Mi 10 Pro smartphone.
While that might seem like a short time, but in the world of smartphones, it is a lot. Simply said, there are a number of differences between the two smartphones.
Here's what has changed…
Display
The newly launched Mi 11 comes with a 6.81-inch AMOLED 120Hz WQHD+ display with a punch-hole display that is stacked towards the left side. It features an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a maximum brightness of 1,500 nits. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
The Mi 10, on the other hand, comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ 90Hz FHD+ display with punch-hole display that is stacked towards the left side, just like the Mi 11. It features an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a maximum brightness of 1,120 nits. It comes with the Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Besides having a bigger, brighter and faster display, Mi 11 also is stronger than its predecessor.
Camera
As far as the camera is concerned, the Mi 11 comes with a 108MP wide-angle lens, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP tele-macro camera. The Mi 10, on the other hand, comes with a 108MP main lens, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. Coming to the front camera, both the Mi 11 and the Mi 10 come with a 20MP in-display selfie camera. Safe to say that there's not much difference in terms of the camera specifications.
Performance
The newly launched Mi 11 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset with X60 modem. It features up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage space.
The Mi 10, on the other hand, is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G processor that is coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage space.
Battery
The Mi 11 comes with a 4,600mAh battery with 55W wired fast charging, 50W wireless fast charging capacity and 10W of reverse wireless charging support. The Mi 10, on the other hand, comes with a bigger 4,780mAh battery with 30W wired fast charging, 30W of wireless fast charging capacity and reverse wireless charging support.
Others
Besides the above-mentioned details, Mi 11 comes with an in-screen fingerprint sensor and it will be available in Midnight Gray, Horizon Blue and Frost White colours. The Mi 10 also comes with an in-screen fingerprint sensor but it is available in Twilight Grey and Coral Green colour variants.
