According to reports, ISRO and JAXA have plans to send a lander and rover to the south pole region of the Moon which will conduct studies on the lunar surface. Just like Chandrayaan-3, the Chandrayaan-4 mission will be conducted from the south-polar region of the Moon. (ISRO)
