The iPhone 13 Pro Max, unlike the hundreds of affordable Android phones, does not have a dedicated macro camera. Instead, it uses a variable focus system on the ultra-wide camera to achieve the macro function. The macro mode is automatically enabled as soon as the phone goes very close to the subject.

Once he takes the pictures, he even shares the images with his patients via the AirDrop feature. That way, he allows his patients to also know about the progress. This also allows the patient to have a record of the surgery in case they need to visit another doctor, or ever need it in the future. The macro camera also enables Korn to let his patients send pictures of their eyes remotely from their home.
