Full Snow Moon is stunning from space; captured by International Space Station astronauts

The International Space Station witnessed some stunning views this week. The Full Snow Moon arrived on Wednesday (Feb. 16) at 11:57 a.m. EST (0457 GMT and was witnessed by not only people on Earth, but also by the Astronauts on the International Space Station (ISS).

The ISS also witnessed stunning visuals of the Moon above the Red Sea on February 15, captured above the river Nile in Sudan. February 14 was not only Valentines Day but it brought breathtaking views of the Moon. Along with the Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars were also visible in the morning sky on Wednesday. (NASA)
