NASA’s Perseverance mission consisted of a Mars rover, however, ISRO’s Mars mission will be studying the planet from its orbit. The rover also collected Martian rock and regolith for further studies. However, both have some similar objectives to study the planet’s evolution, climate, atmosphere, environment, and more in order to have a greater understanding of the red planet. (NASA)

As of now, ISRO has not revealed much about the Mangalyaan-2 mission, however, we expect that as soon as the mission development progresses we will get to know more about it. Furthermore, the timeline of the mission is important, as the first Mangalyaan mission was supposed to last for 6-months, however, it further continued its journey for many more years.  (NASA)
