Battlegrounds Mobile India has crossed 5 million downloads in its Early Access phase. Krafton announced the development via an in-game notification.

PUBG Mobile India fans have been buzzing with excitement ever since its successor, Battlegrounds Mobile India became available for download for the pre-registered beta users. Battlegrounds Mobile India release date was announced by Krafton in a rush and the game was made available to select users in the country initially, but just a day later, it was made available to all users with a simple condition - they had to sign up to become beta testers on the Google Play Store to download and play the game (sorry iPhone users!). This opened the floodgates and Battlegrounds Mobile India downloads shot through the roof. And now, Battlegrounds Mobile India has crossed 5 million downloads in its Early Access phase.

Krafton announced the development via an in-game notification. The Battlegrounds Mobile India-maker also announced special rewards for its players. “5M Downloads Gift! Thank you India! Celebrating 5M Downloads, we send our thanks with this extra gift! Please enjoy,” the in-game notification says a report by Gadgets 360.

The report also says that the notification gives the Battlegrounds Mobile India players in the country access to a special coupon, which they can use to open a classic crate and get a random reward. Apart from this reward coupon, Krafton also rewarded players, who got Early Access to the game, with one Supply Crate Coupon, a 2x BP Card and two EXP Cards.

Meanwhile, if for some reason you haven’t had the chance to keep up with the Battlegrounds Mobile India updates since past two days and check all the related news, here’s how you can download the game on your smartphone:

1. Open Google Play Store on your smartphone

2. Look for Battlegrounds Mobile India

3. Sign up to become a beta tester for the game

4. Download and install the PUBG Mobile avatar on your smartphone

5. Start playing!

It is worth noting that Battlegrounds Mobile India is available for download only on the Google Play Store, which means that iPhone and iPad users cannot access the game yet. Krafton has said that it is working on an iOS and iPadOS-based version of the game but the company hasn’t provided a timeline for launch yet. Simply said, iPhone users will have to wait for QUITE some time to get access to the game. As far as Android users are concerned, Battlegrounds Mobile India fans need a smartphone with over 2GB of RAM running on Android 5.0 and greater in order to play the game.
