Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1 launched in India, prices start at ₹6,999

Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1 are based on Google’s Android One platform whereas Nokia 2.1 runs on Android Go (Oreo). Here are full specifications of the new Nokia phones in India.

Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1 are budget Android phones in India (HMD Global)

Three new Nokia smartphones - Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1 - are now available in India. You can buy these phones through the official Nokia e-store, Paytm Mall and retail stores. The most affordable in the lot is Nokia 2.1 which is priced at ₹6,999. Other two phones, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1 are available for ₹11,999 and ₹14,999 respectively.

HMD Global is offering a few introductory schemes with the new phones. It is offering a 10% cashback on Paytm recharges and bill payments on purchasing the new Nokia phone. A similar cashback will be given to Vodafone and Idea customers. ICICI debit or credit card holders are eligible for a 5% additional cashback.

Nokia 2.1 is based on Google's Android Go (Oreo) version whereas Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1 run on Android One Platform. All the three phones are slated to receive Google's Android Pie update in the future.

Nokia 2.1: Full specifications
Based on Google's Android Go platform, Nokia 2.1 comes with a 5.5-inch HD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm's entry-level Snapdragon 425 processor with 1GB of RAM. The phone comes with 8GB of built-in storage and supports additional storage up to 128GB via a microSD card.

In the camera department, it has an 8-megapixel sensor on the back and a 5-megapixel sensor on the front. Key features of the Nokia 2.1 include 4,000mAh battery, 4G LTE, and microUSB.

Nokia 3.1: Full specifications
Featuring an 18:9 5.2-inch HD+ display, the Nokia 3.1 runs on MediaTek MT6750 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of built-in storage, expandable up to 128GB.

Nokia 3.1 has a 13-megapixel camera on the back and an 8-megapixel camera on the front. Key features of the phone include a 2,900mAh battery, Bluetooth 5.0, and 4G LTE.

Nokia 5.1: Full specifications
The Nokia 5.1 has the largest screen among the three, featuring a 5.5-inch full HD+ 18:9 display. It is powered by MediaTek MT6755S processor with 3GB of RAM. It has 32GB preloaded storage, expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.

For photography, Nokia 5.1 comes with a 16-megapixel rear sensor and 8-megapixel camera on the front. Other important features of the phone include 2,970mAh battery, Bluetooth 4.2, and 4G LTE.
