Nokia X6 full specifications, features, price, and more

HMD Global has introduced a new Nokia X series of phones in China. The first phone under the new series is Nokia X, which also comes with an iPhone X-like notch display and a glass body design.

HMD Global on Wednesday launched new Nokia X series of Android smartphones in China. Nokia X6 is the company's first smartphone under this series. The new Nokia smartphone also comes with an iPhone X-like notch display, also first for HMD Global. The smartphone features an edge-to-edge front with 95% of its body covered in glass.

The smartphone is currently available only in China with no word on a global launch as yet. Nokia X6 is available in three storage variants with top end variant featuring 6GB RAM and 128GB storage..

Nokia X6 specifications

Nokia X6 features a 5.8-inch full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio, and a 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood of the smartphone runs Qualcomm's Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor. For photography, Nokia X6 sports a dual-camera setup at the rear which is a combination of 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors. Up front, it houses a 16-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Connectivity options on the Nokia X6 include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C port, and FM Radio. The smartphone is fuelled by a 3,060mAh battery along with support for fast charge. On the software front, it runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. The smartphone will also be upgraded to the upcoming Android P OS.

Nokia X6 price

Nokia X6 starts at CNY 1,299 ( 13,800 approximately) for the base variant with 4GB RAM plus 32GB storage. The mid variant with 4GB RAM plus 64GB storage will retail at CNY 1,499 ( 16,000 approximately). The top model with 6GB RAM plus 64GB storage carries a price tag of CNY 1,699 ( 18,100 approximately).
