OnePlus 6: OnePlus announces new cashback and exchange offers on its flagship phone

OnePlus has introduced new offers for the OnePlus 6 after it became the top selling premium smartphone in India.

Following OnePlus' success in India, the company has announced new offers on the OnePlus 6 which will be applicable starting today. ICICI credit card holders will get ₹1,500 cashback on purchasing OnePlus 6 through EMI from all online and offline stores. There's a 6-month no cost EMI option for all popular bank credit card holders as well.

OnePlus has announced an exchange offer for the OnePlus 6. This offer is valid from August 3 and on Amazon India. Users can get ₹1,500 off on exchanging their old device to purchase the OnePlus 6.

OnePlus 6 emerged as the best selling premium smartphone in India during the second quarter this year. Sales of OnePlus led to the company capturing 40% of the premium segement (above ₹30,000) in India, according to Counterpoint Research.

OnePlus was followed by Samsung with 34% share and Apple which dipped to its lowest at 14%. Another OnePlus smartphone which became the third best selling premium smartphone was the OnePlus 5T launched last November. Samsung's flagship smartphone, Galaxy S9+ bagged the second position.

OnePlus 6 is available online exclusively via Amazon India and the company's e-store. It is also sold through offline retail outlets. OnePlus 6 starts at ₹34,999 for the base model with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage and ₹39,999 for the 8GB RAM plus 128GB RAM variant.

There's a Marvel Avengers OnePlus offering the biggest 256GB storage with 8GB of RAM. This model carries a price tag of ₹44,999. OnePlus 6 comes in different colour options of midnight black, mirror black, red and silk white.

"Last year, for the first time, we hit the $1 billion revenue mark and this year, with the OnePlus 6, it managed to sell 1 million units in 22 days. India, as a market has emerged as a frontrunner in what has been an incredible journey, making for almost 1/3rd of the company's revenue in 2017," OnePlus CEO Pete Lau shared a message on the OnePlus forum highlighting the company's achievements in India.
