Following its quick departure from Oppo, Realme launched its first smartphone as an independent brand. Realme 2 features a 2nd generation diamond cut design with a reflective back. It comes in three colour options of diamond black, red and blue. The smartphone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

Realme 2 features a 6.2-inch display with 88.8% screen-to-body ratio. It comes with a notch cutout on top which comes with features like shortcuts. Users can reply to WhatsApp messages while watching videos on Realme 2.
Realme expands outside India
Realme will soon expand its business to countries in the Middle-east and South-east Asia.

Realme introduces “Callme” customer service for Realme smartphones. Through this service, the company will offer free doorstep pick-up and free courier of Realme phones.

Realme 2 with its specifications and expected pricing, it will compete against top budget smartphones. Some of these include Moto G5 Plus and Xiaomi's Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro.
