Realme 2 India launch highlights: Bets big on design, improved specifications
Following its quick departure from Oppo, Realme launched its first smartphone as an independent brand. Realme 2 features a 2nd generation diamond cut design with a reflective back. It comes in three colour options of diamond black, red and blue. The smartphone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

Realme 2 features a 6.2-inch display with 88.8% screen-to-body ratio. It comes with a notch cutout on top which comes with features like shortcuts. Users can reply to WhatsApp messages while watching videos on Realme 2.
Realme expands outside India
Realme will soon expand its business to countries in the Middle-east and South-east Asia.

Realme, a sub-brand of Oppo debuted in India earlier this year with the launch of Realme 1 smartphone. The company announced its departure from Oppo last month. Realme is now headed by Sky Li, former senior executive of Oppo and head of Oppo India.
