Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event: Samsung is all set to launch a series of new devices at the company's Galaxy Unpacked Event today (August 11). The event will feature new foldable devices, wearables including smartwatches and wireless earbuds. The event, like all other Samsung Galaxy Unpacked events this year, will be held virtually and customers can tune in to the live event online.

During the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung is expected launch two new foldable devices, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3. The South Korean company is also expected to launch two new Galaxy Watch 4 models, which should be the first watches to drop the company's Tizen OS. As the novel coronavirus pandemic and its variants have shown no signs of slowing down, tech companies are increasingly conducting their launch events online. Samsung is no exception, and the Galaxy Unpacked Event will follow in the footsteps of its predecessors this year as an online event. Viewers can tune in to the live event on August 11 at 7:30 PM IST. The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will be live-streamed on the company's YouTube channel or by clicking on the live stream below. Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event: Devices expected to be launched at the upcoming event

During the live event, Samsung is expected to launch The Galaxy Fold 3 and the Galaxy Flip 3, the latest additions to its foldable device lineup. Based on what we know about these devices through various leaks so far, the Galaxy Fold 3 is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. It could sport a large 7.6 primary display along with a smaller 6.2-inch external display. On the camera front, it could feature a triple camera setup with three 12MP sensors.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Flip 3, is likely to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and a 6.7-inch display. It could sport a dual-camera setup at the rear side of the device with 12 MP sensors and a 10MP camera on the front. It is likely to come with a 1.9-inch secondary display. Samsung could also launch two new smartwatches -- the Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, which are likely to feature Google's new Wear OS version that is created in partnership with Samsung. Meanwhile, Samsung is also expected to launch a new pair of truly wireless earbuds, which are expected to be the latest iteration of the company's original Galaxy Buds wireless earbuds.
