It was an exciting day in the world of technology today. On one hand, we saw Flipkart introducing its hyperlocal delivery service, Flipkart Quick in India to take on Amazon Fresh formerly known as Prime Now. On the other hand, Samsung launched a bunch of new smart TVs in India.

In addition to that, Amazon revamped its Alexa app to focus on personalisation and first-party features.

Flipkart Quick launched

Flipkart launched Flipkart Quick in India. The service will pilot in select localities in Bengaluru. As a part of the service, Flipkart users will be able to order groceries, dairy products and other things between 6AM to midnight and get it delivered within 90 minutes or within their preferred two-hour delivery slot.

Amazfit BIP S Lite smartwatch launched

Huami today launched Amazfit BIP S Lite smartwatch in India. It is priced at 3,799 and it will be available via Flipkart and via Amazfit India Store starting July 29.

Amazon revamps Alexa app

Amazon today rolled out a revamped version of its Alexa app. The revamped app offers more personalisation and more instructions on how and when the digital assistant can be used. Amazon has also moved the third-party skill suggestions off the main screen so users can focus more on actually using Alexa.

Spotify introduces Group Sessions

Spotify today introduced Group Sessions feature for its premium users across the globe. The feature, that was first introduced back in May this year, enables users to listen to a podcast or a playlist together irrespective of their distance.

Samsung launches new smart TV range

Samsung today launched a new range of business TVs in India. The new range consists of 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch and 70-inch variants with the prices ranging from 75,000 to 1,75,000.
