Tech It and Go: Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro give you a bang for your buck

    • The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro have been around for a month now, and they are selling well. But are they really all that good? The two smartphones are strategically targeted at the budget category, 10,000- 16,000, to be precise. And just like other Android phones in this bracket, Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro bring a combination of top-of-the-line specifications and aggressive pricing. Redmi Note 5 Pro packs the Snapdragon 636 processor with RAM variants up to 6GB, and packs 64 GB of storage. Redmi Note 5 Pro is also the first Xiaomi smartphone in the Redmi lineup to boast of 6GB RAM. It features a 5.9 inch, 18:9, 1080x2160 display along with a 12 and 5 megapixel dual camera setup and a 20 megapixel front shooter with LED flash. Redmi Note 5 comes with a 2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 4GB RAM and a choice between 32 and 64GB of internal storage. It features the same screen as Note 5 Pro along with a 12 megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera with LED flash.
