Honor Band 6 with 14-day battery life, NFC launched
Honor Band 6 features a rectangular 1.47-inch display making it look more like a smartwatch than a smart fitness band.
Honor has launched a new smart fitness band which is more like a cross between a fitness band and a smartwatch. Honor Band 6 comes with a rectangular display much like the Honor Watch ES.
Honor Band 6 has been made official in China at a starting price of CNY 249 which translates to roughly ₹2,800. There’s an NFC variant of the Honor Band 6 which costs CNY 289 ( ₹3,300 approx). The smart fitness band will be available in China from November 11 onwards. It comes in three colour options of Coral Powder, Meteorite Black, and Seagull Grey.
In terms of specs, Honor Band 6 features a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with a 2.5D curved glass on top. It has a 180mAh battery that’s claimed to last for up to 14 days on typical usage, and 10 days on heavy usage. Honor also claims that just five minutes of charging gives a two-day battery life.
Honor Band 6 comes with activity tracking for 10 different sports. It is also water resistant up to 50 metres. The smart fitness band also comes with heart rate tracking, blood oxygen monitoring and sleep tracking. The Honor Band 6 also has ovulation tracking and menstrual cycle tracking as part of it’s women’s health management.
In addition to these features, the Honor Band 6 can also display notifications, and let users control music playback. The smart band offers more than 100 dial faces to choose from. The NFC variant can be used for wireless payments, and there’s voice assistant support as well.
