Nothing ear 1 goes all BLACK! Know what this limited edition model costs
Nothing ear 1 Black Edition launches in India as a limited edition model. The specs and price remain unchanged.
Nothing ear 1 goes all black for its first limited edition variant. Launched originally in a single white colour variant, the Nothing ear 1 will be available in the Black Edition for a limited period of time. The Black Edition will go on sale from December 13 at 12 noon via Flipkart. Despite being a limited run variant, Nothing has kept the price unchanged from its original tag of ₹6,999.
The Nothing ear 1 Black Edition also retains the same set of features and specifications as the original model that continues to sell in white. You still get the same audio performance as well as the Active Noise Cancellation system, says Nothing. The company also says that the ear 1 is now completely carbon neutral.
Nothing ear 1 Black Edition is here
The Nothing ear 1 Black Edition is essentially a blacked out version of the standard earbuds. The transparent bits remain unchanged but there's a smoky overall finish with matte black finish on the earbuds and the interior.
Prior to the open sales, Nothing will sell the first 100 units of the ear 1 Black Edition with engraved numbers between 1 to 100. These numbered special edition units will be only available at Nothing Kiosks at Seven Dials, Covent Garden in London.
Additionally, buyers outside India will also be able to make the purchase via cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USD Coin (USDC) and Dogecoin (DOGE).
“With ear (1) we've proven that new ideas, from design to distribution, can resonate with users and bring back the sense of excitement that's been lacking in our industry. We hope this black edition raises a few more eyebrows in the months to come and that more tech brands add carbon transparency labelling to their products," says Carl Pei, the CEO of Nothing.
