CES 2021: TCL announce new TVs, ACs, air purifiers and more
TCL today launched a bunch of new devices including TVs, air conditioners, air purifiers, refrigerators and vacuum cleaners at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2021. The annual tech fest is being held virtually this year owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.
TCL hasn’t revealed the price and availability of any of these devices. The company says these details will be announced while launching in specific regions.
The company has already introduced new Mini-LED, QLED and 4K HDR TVs. The list includes TCL’s 4K Mini LED TV with the model number C825, a 4K QLED TV with model number C725, and a 4K HDR TV with model number P725. You can find all the details about TCL’s 2021 TV lineup here.
TCL TS8132 soundbar
Apart from launching TVs, TCL also launched a soundbar with model number TS8132. It is a Dolby Atmos-enabled soundbar that uses a 3.1.2 channel configuration with a maximum audio power of 350W. TCL says that it provides an immersive sound experience through the two vertical channels and a powerful wireless subwoofer. Additionally, it has Chromecast built-in and also works with popular voice assistants including Hey Google, Apple AirPlay and Amazon Alexa.
Next in line is the TCL Ocarina air conditioner. TCL says that it can connect to a smart TV, phone and any compatible devices via the TCL Home App or Google Assistant enabling users to use it via any compatible device. It features a Deep Clean function, which the company says is an advanced combination of washing, drying and anti-bacterial technology. It also automatically cleans the evaporator, which in turn reduces labour and saves energy.
TCL also launched a smart washing machine at CES 2021. The TCL X10 washing machine integrates smart home connectivity through the TCL Home App. Users can control and even customise washing cycles, including cycle volume and duration, using Wi-Fi. It is equipped with a DD motor, both units can either run separately or at the same time. It also features WiFi connectivity, which enables users to manage it remotely via the TCL Home App.
Next in line is the TCL C470 refrigerator. It features a 21.5-inch smart LED screen design. TCL says that the refrigerator is preloaded with media resources, recipe recommendations, a drawing board and more. The C470 refrigerator also features Power Cool, which the company says can cool drinks in just five minutes, and Power Freeze which can fast freeze meat in just 10 minutes. Additionally, its door gasket is fitted with a dust-proofing protection layer that has an antibacterial agent inside.
TCL also launched the TCL Breeva A3 air purifier. It features the company’s Breeva Shield technology, which is a shield made up of UV-C light and ionizer to handle bacteria and airborne microbes. It also has a 3-stage filtration system to deal with dust, pollen, smoke and pet odours in the air. TCL says that this air purifier is designed to purify the air in spaces up to 32-square-meters and can clean up to 270 cubic meters of air per hour. It also has an Ultra Quiet sleep mode and display off feature helps Breeva A3 users to sleep soundly.
Lastly, the company also launched a vacuum cleaner at the tech fest. The TCL Robot Vacuum Cleaner is a super-slim 70mm tall robot vacuum cleaner that can work under most furniture. It can handle room thresholds over 20 mm. The company says that it has a sophisticated sensor system that delivers a smart clean home.
