Apple might launch the iPad Air 4 in March 2021 with the A14 processor, iPad Pro update may come next month
MyDrivers, a Chinese website has reported that Apple is going to bring in the iPad Air 4 in March 2021 and that’s not all. The iPad Air 4 might be updated to make it look closer to the iPad Pro in terms of both design and features.
The iPad Air 4 will reportedly come with a smart connector on the rear for the new Magic Keyboard and is set to transition from the Lightning Connector to the USB-C type for charging port. It also might feature four stereo speakers.
The Chinese website states that the iPad Air 4 is going to come with an 11-inch Liquid Retina display and be launched in three storage configurations - 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. Analyst Ming Chi Kuo has reported that the iPad Air 4 might come with a 10.8-inch screen, which is not very off from this 11-inch screen that MyDrivers has reported.
Either way, the new iPad Air 4 is going to have a larger screen than its older iterations and come with reduced bezels. All these features are currently reserved for the iPad Pro.
The iPad Air is supposed to fill the gap between the entry-level iPads and the high-end iPad Pro and the upcoming iPad Air 4 might be $150 more expensive than the current iPad Air 3. So, prices for the new iPad Air might start at $649 ( ₹48,683 approx).
The report also claims that an updated iPad Pro might come in next month alongside the new iPhones. But given the Apple event for this fall might be pushed to October where we will get the more affordable iPhone 12s, we’ll have to wait for more confirmation.
Rumor has it that an updated iPad Pro with micro-LED technology may arrive earliest by this fall, and the latest my the first half of 2021.
