(Amritanshu/ HT Tech) ![Author Photo](https://images.hindustantimes.com/tech/static/revamp/images/png/HTTech-new-circle-logo.png) ### By AMRITANSHU MUKHERJEE Top gaming laptops under Rs. 1 lakh: If you are in the market for a gaming laptop that costs less than what a new M1 MacBook Air costs, you have come to the right place. Gaming PCs and laptops are usually expensive, especially when you are seeking RTX 30 series GPU and top-end specifications. However, as part of the Grand Gadgets Days sale on Flipkart that starts from February 12, you can get some great gaming laptops that cost less than ₹1 lakh. Note that there are only a few options available with RTX 30 graphics cards. Due to budget constraints, you have to often compromise with either the processor, or the GPU. Most of these laptops already ship with Windows 11, or are in the process to get the update. ## Top gaming laptops: How we choose the best -A good graphics card matters a lot. In 2022, it is smart to not settle for anything less than an NVIDIA RTX 30 series. However, those on restricted budget could still be happy with a machine running on a GTX 1650 card that offers optimal graphics performance. However, those not seeking extreme high frame rates should be content with 11th Gen Core i5 as well. - Most laptops in this price range now offer a high refresh rate 144Hz display. Try to not settle for one that restricts it to 60Hz. -You should have ample storage on your gaming laptop. Most systems offer a 512GB SSD as standard, which is fine if you only play one or two big titles at a time. However, if you play multiple titles at a time, opting for a hybrid solution with a 1TB addition drive is better. -Lastly, your gaming laptop needs to have a lot of necessary I/O ports. A fast HDMI port, a couple of USB-A, and USB-C ports are necessary.
