Apple iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini receive price cut on Amazon and Flipkart ahead of iPhone 13 arrival

Apple iPhone 13 is yet to arrive in stores, but the iPhone 12 is already discounted on both Amazon and Flipkart. Here’s what you need to know, if you’re looking to buy an iPhone ahead of the iPhone 13 series arrival.

Apple iPhone 13 series was launched last week, offering hardware upgrades over last year's iPhone 12 series. The smartphones are yet to arrive in stores, and pre-bookings are currently available from the company's website and on Amazon. We recently reported that the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max was available for pre-booking, but shipping would be delayed until October. If you don't want to wait to get your hands on an iPhone, or don't mind getting last year's model, Amazon and Flipkart are both selling the iPhone 12 at discounted prices ahead of the iPhone 13 sale next week.

The smaller-sized iPhone 12 mini was launched at a price of ₹69,900 and ₹74,900 for the 64GB and 128GB storage variants. Customers can now purchase the device for ₹56,999 and ₹63,999 for the 64 GB and 128GB storage variants respectively. Meanwhile, they can also avail of exchange offers from Flipkart and Amazon, of up to ₹15,000 and ₹14,200 respectively.

 

The iPhone 12 launched at a price of ₹79,900 and ₹84,900 for the 64GB and 128GB storage variants respectively. The 128GB iPhone 12 model is now available for ₹68,999, while the white variant is available on Amazon for ₹70,999. Both Flipkart and Amazon are offering exchange value of up to ₹15,000 and ₹14,000 respectively. Meanwhile, the base storage variant with 64Gb is on sale for ₹63,999. Customers can also take advantage of bank discounts and EMIs on the smartphone.

On the specifications front, both the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 come with Apple's A14 Bionic chipset, a Super Retina XDR OLED display (iPhone 12 mini - 5.4-inches, iPhone 12 - 5.1-inches) with HDR 10 support, and 12 MP wide and ultra wide cameras on the read with a 12MP selfie shooter. The devices come with 4GB of RAM and can be charged at up to 20W (wired) and 15W (wireless MagSafe) and 7.5W (Qi wireless charging) – the iPhone 12 has a 2815mAh battery, while the iPhone 12 mini has a 2227mAh battery. Both devices have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and come with Apple's Ceramic Shield display protection.
