Apple iPhone 12 Pro’s chassis shown in a video, reveals a lot about the final design

In case you are wondering, this is a slightly different design than what’s there on the latest iPad Pro that comes with a LiDAR sensor.

Although one might not be expecting Apple to launch its iPhone 12 series at the upcoming September 15 ‘Time Flies' launch, the leaks and rumours are leaving us with no imagination. We have already seen the cover cases of unannounced iPhone 12 and the renders as well on the web. Now, a new video has shown iPhone 12 Pro's chassis, which also makes it clear on how the new iPhone will be different in design than the current iPhone 11 models.

Shared by EverythingApplePro on Twitter, the chassis shown in the video is of the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro. The chassis not just confirms the flat side bezels on all the four sides but also the placement of the LiDAR sensor at the back alongside the three rear cameras. In case you are wondering, this is a slightly different design than what's there on the latest iPad Pro that comes with a LiDAR sensor.

From the looks of it, Apple will retain the position of the three rear cameras like it has right now in the iPhone 11 Pro models. The LiDAR sensor cutout and the LED flash cutouts are seen as well.

The new iPhones are said to launch sometime in October this year. However, until that happens, all eyes are on the upcoming September 15 ‘Time Flies' event. There have been enough rumours and leaks on what's there to come. Experts say that this event will be different from the typical iPhone launch event that Apple usually has in September and that we may not even see an iPhone this time.

We are expecting the launch of an affordable Apple Watch along with Watch Series 6 and a couple of iPads.
