Apple iPhone 12 series may include five iPhones

The entry-level iPhone 12 will be available in a variety of colours, which includes Black, White, Blue, Red, Yellow and Coral. In terms of the storage space, it will be available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage variants.

Apple is reportedly hosting a special event on October 13 wherein it will launch its next-generation iPhone 12 series smartphones. Earlier, reports said that the iPhone 12 series will consist of four smartphones. Now, a new report says that the series will comprise of five iPhone models.

As per a report by German blog WinFuture, the iPhone 12 series will comprise of five iPhone models, one of which will be the entry-level model. This entry-level model as per the report will be available in a variety of colours, which includes Black, White, Blue, Red, Yellow and Coral. In terms of the storage space, it will be available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage variants.

As far as the higher-model variants are concerned, the report says that the other four models of the iPhone 12 series will be available in Black, White and Silver colour variants, indicating that customers will have a limited colour palette to pick from. Talking about the storage space, all of the higher variants are expected to be available in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage space variants.

Finally, the report says that Apple is expected to retain the notch in its upcoming iPhone 12 series smartphones.

Separately, a report says that Apple will not ship the headphones with its iPhone 12 series smartphones. iOS 14.2 comes with a radio frequency disclaimer within the Settings app that comes with some safety warnings regarding how the user must use the device. Now, 9to5Mac reports that iOS 14.2 beta comes with a new version of this file that mentions only “headphones” and not “supplied headphones”.This indicates that the iPhone will not come with EarPods in the box.

All said and done, Apple hasn't confirmed anything yet. And so, we will have to wait for a confirmation from the company to say anything with certainty.
