Apple’s iPhone SE 2022 is going to come with a 4.7-inch LCD screen, the 2023 model will come with a 6.1 inch screen
Apple launched the iPhone SE 2020 last year and are planning to release follow-ups to it for the next few years at least. A recent tip has revealed some information about the upcoming iPhone SE models.
According to a tweet shared by one Ross Young, the iPhone 2022 is going to come with a 4.7-inch LCD display while the 2023 model is going to be bigger, with a 6.1-inch screen. Young also mentioned in his tweet that the 2023 version of the iPhone SE is going to have a punch hole display.
Apple LCD iPhone leak, we now hear the next LCD iPhone SE will remain at 4.7" in 2022. Some rumors that it may have 5G with Sub-6 GHz as well. Also hearing about a 6.1" version in 2023 with punch hole rather than a notch.— Ross Young (@DSCCRoss) April 1, 2021
Going by this information, Apple is going to retain the compact 4.7 inch form factor for the iPhone SE 2022 model. Young added in his tweet that the smartphone Apple is going to launch next year is going to be 5G enabled.
For now, only the latest iPhone 12 series devices come with 5G support. The iPhone SE 2022 might come with sub-6GHz support as well.

Besides significantly larger screen, 6.1-inch, the iPhone SE 2023 is going to feature a punch-hole display, moving away from the signature notch we have seen on all Apple smartphones so far. This is going to be a marked departure away from a design language we’ve seen for years.
While all this does sound exciting, the information comes courtesy a social media post and we have no confirmation or further information to corroborate any of it. For now, thus, it is best to take this information as another rumour and leak we cannot confirm.
