Cheaper Vivo Y30 variant headed to India next month

A cheaper Vivo Y30 model is coming to India soon. Here’s what you need to know about the phone.

Vivo may launched a cheaper variant of its Vivo Y30 in India. The main variant had launched in Malaysia earlier this month. The cheaper version is expected to arrive in the first week of next month.

According to 91Mobiles report, the new Vivo Y30 model could be priced around 15,000. The original variant is priced at MYR 899 (around 15,810 approximately).

Right now, there’s no word on what features will be eliminated in the cheaper variant of the Vivo Y30.

Just a quick recap, Vivo Y30 comes with a 6.47-inch HD+ display. The phone runs on MediaTek’s Helio P35 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The phone supports expandable storage up to 512GB.

The phone features as many as four cameras on the back. The primary is a 13-megapixel sensor. Other three sensors are an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, 2-megapixel depth sensor, and 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

Other key features of Vivo Y30 include Android 10-based Funtouch OS, 4G, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi. It’s powered by a 5,000mAh battery. It doesn’t support fast charging. 

Vivo Y30 sells in Malaysia in Dazzle Blue and Moonstone White colours.
