(Bloomberg) ![Author Photo](https://images.hindustantimes.com/tech/static/revamp/images/png/HTTech-new-circle-logo.png) ### By HT TECH It has barely been a month since Apple launched its iPhone 12 series smartphone that reports about the company’s 2021 iPhones, that is, the iPhone 13 have already started flooding the internet. Now, a new report gives us the first glimpse of the iPhone 13 smartphones. As per a report by Jiorīku (via Wccftech), the iPhone 13 will feature a design that is similar to iPhone 12. Apple is expected to stick to a square-shaped rear camera module and a glass back with flat sides. Additionally, the iPhone 13 is touted to get aluminum or stainless steel depending on which material the company uses for which iPhone model. The tipster has also shared details about the iPhone 13’s security features. Some reports in the past have hinted towards the 2021 iPhone models getting a combination of Face ID and Touch ID in the form of an in-display fingerprint sensor. Now, the tipster says that iPhone 13 will not come with those features, instead, it will include Face ID only, which is similar to the older iPhone models. > iPhone 13 first prototype: ✅We out here lads let's go— Jiorīku 🦃 (@Jioriku) November 1, 2020 If you think that’s a bummer, there’s more. The tipster says that iPhone 13 will also feature a display notch, a trend Apple started with iPhone X, however, it will be smaller compared to the older iPhone models including iPhone 12. Additionally, the company will include LTPO OLED screens coupled with a 120Hz display in the iPhone 13. The tipster also says that it is possible that the iPhone maker ditches the Lightning port in its iPhone 13 to opt for either a USB Type-C port or a portless design, especially since it has launched the MagSafe wireless chargers. That said, this is just the first prototype and it possible that Apple makes critical changes to the design in the coming months.
