Honor 9A, Honor 9S budget phones to launch in India on July 31

Honor today announced the launch date for its budget smartphones in India. Honor 9A and Honor 9S will launch in India on July 31. Both smartphones launched in Russia earlier this April.

Honor 9A will be available exclusively via Amazon India, while the Honor 9S will go on sale via Flipkart. There's already a teaser page for the Honor 9A on Amazon India. Honor will also launch the MagicBook 15 laptop along with the Honor 9S, according to a report by Gadgets 360. With both phones already launched, only the pricing details are awaited now.

Honor 9A specs

Honor 9A features a 6.3-inch FullView display with a notch on top. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card. 

Honor 9A has a triple camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor, 5-megapixel super wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There's an 8-megapixel camera up front for selfies. Honor 9A also comes with a 5,000mAh battery, and runs on Magic UI 3.1 based on Android 10.

Honor 9S specs

Honor 9S has a smaller 5.45-inch display, and runs on the same Helio P22 SoC. It offers 2GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. The smartphone sports a single 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front camera. Honor 9S also runs on Magic UI 3.1 based on Android 10, and packs a 3,020mAh battery.
