Honor will soon release its V40 smartphone series. Ahead of the official launch on January 22, Honor has begun building hype around the phone through a series of teasers. The latest one hints at an improved gaming experience on the upcoming phone, reports Gizmcohina.
According to the report, Honor V40 will come with the company's new graphics acceleration engine, GPU Turbo X. The official teaser is also accompanied by a short clip that demos the graphics prowess on the new phone.
Based on leaks so far, Honor V40 will most likely be a mid-range smartphone. According to reports, the handset will come with a 6.72-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution. The display is also said to come with up to 120Hz refresh rate and up to 300Hz touch sampling rate.
Reports suggest the phone will house a 4,000mAh battery coupled with 66W fast charging and 55W wireless charging. It will also house the in-display fingerprint sensor. For performance, the phone will reportedly come with MediaTek's Dimensity 1000+ processor.

In the photography department, the phone is said to come with a combination of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel sensor and 2-megapixel sensor. On the front, it is said to come with 32-megapixel and 16-megapixel sensors.
The smartphone will also be accompanied by Pro and Pro+ versions. The Pro model will reportedly come with a 6.72-inch full HD+ curved display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. The phone would run on MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor whereas V40 Pro Plus would have Huawei's in-house Kirin 9000 processor.
