Huawei starts rolling out EMUI 10.1 to P30, P30 Pro, Mate 20X 5G

Huawei, last month, released a list of devices that will get the EMUI 10.1 update in the global markets. This includes the company's Mate 20 series, Mate 30 series, MatePad Pro and Nova 5T and 7i smartphones. Now, the company has started rolling out the EMUI 10.1 update to select smartphones across the global.

As per a report by Notebook Check, the company has started releasing the EMUI 10.1 to its Huawei P30, Huawei P30 Pro and the Huawei Mate 20X 5G smartphones. Users of the company's Mate 20X 5G smartphone in Europe have started receiving the update as a part of version 10.1.0.215. The update weighs a whopping 4.37GB.

In addition to the Mate 20X 5G, the company has also started rolling out the EMUI 10.1 to the P30 and P30 Pro smartphones in North Africa, South Africa, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Middle East. The update comes with version number 10.1.0.126 and weighs 4.53GB.

As far as the EMUI 10.1 is concerned, the feature brings a host of new features to Huawei's smartphones. The list includes a feature that users edit files on their smartphones using apps on their PCs. There is also a feature called OneHop that allows users to connect multiple devices with their smartphone simply by tapping on them once. In addition to this, the software update brings new privacy and security features along with multi-tasking menus, new themes, cross device photo-gallery, sound boosters and Celia voice assistant to the Huawei smartphones.
