For those wanting to buy an iPhone during the Amazon Prime Day sale, the iPhone 11 comes across one of the deals for those looking for a budget iPhone. The iPhone 11 along with the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 is available on offers during the Amazon Prime Day sale. And if you are looking to buy an iPhone for a much lower price, it makes sense for many, considering its price for the base model with 64GB storage.

While the iPhone 11 is a great deal at the moment, we recommend you should refrain from settling for it. In a world where tech evolves faster than your dieting regime, going for a phone from three years ago is not a wise decision, even if that means you get an easier access to the prestigious club of people somehow managing to show off that iconic Apple logo. Read on as to why we think this iPhone 11 should be avoided at all costs this time.

iPhone 11 at Rs. 41999: Still not a good enough deal

-One of the main reasons to avoid the iPhone 11 now is due to its age. It was announced back in 2019 and that means it is dated. From its design to the underlying tech, everything on the iPhone 11 is dated. Why would you pay a premium for something that's dated?

-Since it has been around for three years, the iPhone 11 at best will get the latest updates for two more years, or three if Apple is considerate. The iPhone SE 3 for the same price will get you five years of OS updates at the least!

-That 6.1-inch display on the iPhone 11 isn't as good as the one on the iPhone 12 or iPhone 13, or even Android phones at the same price. You essentially get a large LCD display with chunky bezels and an overall dull colour profile. Plus, no high refresh rate, which is a staple on Android phones at this price.

-iPhone 11 lacks 5G support! The A13 Bionic only came with 4G antennas and hence, when 5G networks start to go live in India later this year, your iPhone 11 won't be able to support it. If you are paying over Rs. 40000 for a phone in 2022, you need to have the 5G support.

-The iPhone 11 made a name for itself back in 2019 for its battery life performance. In 2022, that won't be great by any means. Over the years, users have complained of deteriorating battery life figures. Plus, you still get the slow 20W charging support, although that's an issue with all iPhones.

What should you do?

-If you have to have an iPhone, go for the iPhone SE 3rd Gen, or pay more for the iPhone 12. These iPhones are worth their price and can keep up the with modern-day smartphone needs.

-If you are fine with Android, you can get some amazing phones at this price. The Nothing Phone (1) is the newest entrant with a stellar design, good performance, and an overall nice user experience. You also have high-performance phones like the Redmi K50i, iQOO 9 SE, iQOO Neo 6, Poco F4, and Google Pixel 6a.
