iPhone 13 and iPhone 12 are getting a special treatment! Ever since iOS 15 released, it hasn't been exactly a smooth sailing for iPhone users. Lots of bugs have been reported and despite Apple releasing fixes, some new issue creeps up. The latest ones with the last update were related to calls on the iPhone 13 and iPhone 12. The latest iOS 15.1.1 claims to fix that.

Apple says that the iOS 15.1.1 release is all about fixing the call drop performance on the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. Hence, the update is secured for these iPhones only. If you are on an iPhone SE or iPhone 11 and older, you won't be seeing the update.

The call drop issue has been apparent lately; our iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Mini units have been showing symptoms. The bug led to a lot of call drops even under strong network coverage. With the new update patch, the issue should be fixed, although we are yet to verify the claims.
