iPhone 13 Mini STILL a great phone for many and not good enough for some: We tell you why
The iPhone 13 Mini may not see its successor with the iPhone 14 generation but it still is a great buy for many. We tell you why.
The iPhone 13 Mini has not been the most popular variant of the iPhone 13 series and if the rumours are to be taken seriously, we would be seeing the Mini iPhone getting discontinued. That means the iPhone 13 Mini would be the last one of its kind. But is it a good buy in 2022? The iPhone 13 Mini after all hasn't been selling well and many suggest it makes more sense to go for the bigger iPhone 13.
We have had the iPhone 13 Mini with us for a while now and in all these months since its launch, this iPhone has proven itself multiple times. This is the only compact iPhone other than the iPhone SE 3rd Gen and you don't have to settle with a vintage design here. And then there's the price – the iPhone 13 Mini continues to sell at slightly discounted prices on Flipkart and Amazon.
Hence, should you buy the iPhone 13 Mini now? If yes, what are the reasons? If no, why you need to avoid it? We tell you everything.
iPhone 13 Mini: Why you should buy it?
-The biggest reason is its smallish size! The iPhone 13 Mini with its 5.4-inch display is currently one of the most compact flagship phones you can buy today. Compared to the iPhone 13, this Mini is handy and easy to use.
-The iPhone 13 Mini gets the same A15 Bionic chip from the iPhone 13 and that means you have one of the most powerful mobile chips at your disposal. Hence, you can run all apps and games with absolute ease.
-The iPhone 13 Mini has a good battery life for a compact phone of its size. Without gaming and much camera use, this iPhone can easily make it through an entire day. That's much better than the iPhone SE 3, which can barely make it through an entire day.
-The iPhone 13 Mini also has one of the nicest smartphone cameras on its back. You get the ability to shoot great photos and videos, which not most of its Android rivals can do.
-The compact 5.4-inch display uses an OLED panel supporting Dolby Vision. The small size is good enough for browsing social media occasionally and all the regular stuff. For watching videos and movies, it is not a good enough and is ideal for those who have a tablet or TV to watch all your content.
iPhone 13 Mini: Few reasons to avoid it
-The small size may not work for everyone and despite being the most affordable model, everyone prefers a 6.1-inch display of the iPhone 13.
-The charging speeds are slower in comparison to similarly priced Android smartphones. The 20W Apple Lighting charger is comparatively slow and even the wireless charging is limited to 12W.
-You only get a 60Hz refresh rate display that is slower with its animations when compared to the 120Hz displays others phones have at this price.
