But there are external factors that may further dictate a change in the final iPhone 14 price on launch. And the biggest factor that is concerning the Cupertino-based tech giant right now is the supply chain crisis it is facing in China. With a potential delay for manufacturing on the cards, will this further raise the smartphone’s price? Yes, iPhone 14 price on launch could be much higher than earlier estimated and will likely create a problem for fans who want to buy it. While we cannot be sure of that yet, there are estimations which reflect more light on the situation and the possible price for the upcoming Apple smartphones. Also read: iPhone 14 launch is undergoing a supply chain scare; but a bigger problem awaits Apple ## iPhone 14 price on launch based on the new leaks We have found out two new pieces of information about the iPhone 14 series this week. The first and probably the most important one comes from the Korean news website ET News which reported that Apple might be ditching its Chinese supplier for front-cameras and could instead be switching to LG Innotek. According to the report, this will also increase the cost of the camera itself by three times, something which will likely be passed onto the end customer. Also read click here. The second information comes from Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) as well as an Apple insider. He stated in a tweet that he was expecting iPhone 14 to upgrade its variable refresh rate from 10-120Hz to 1-120Hz. This can also play a role in the final iPhone 14 price on launch. So, what could the expected price for the iPhone 14 lineup be? A report by Forbes tells us. According to Forbes, the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max will cost $100 more than its iPhone 13 counterparts. The iPhone 14 Max may see a price increase by $200 compared to the iPhone 13 Mini, which it will be replacing. On the other hand, the iPhone 14 base model, which may not see much upgrades compared to the previous year’s model, might see the smallest price increase. Do note that all of this information, at the end of the day, is speculation even if it comes from some very reputable sources, and none of this has been confirmed by any official source. The final prices may vary from what has been suggested here and we recommend that you wait till official launch before making your mind up.
