iPhone 14 has just hit trial production, according to the latest reports. The iPhone 14 series is said to have been undergoing trial production run, and if everything goes well, Apple could start commercial production by August. That would give Apple enough time to have the stocks ready for a launch sometime in late September. The iPhone 14 series is expected to come with four models this time, all of which include an iPhone 14, a new 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus/Max, an iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Additionally, Apple has apparently informed its suppliers that there will be a massive demand for the iPhone 14 once it launches. In fact, it is said that the sales of the iPhone 14 is predicted to outdo the sales of the iPhone 13, which itself had a strong start in 2021. All of this sounds surprising when the market is full of rumours suggesting that the iPhone 14 will have fewer upgrades over the iPhone 13 and may cost $100 more due to the inflation.

iPhone 14 to sell MORE than iPhone 13

The report from IT Home also suggests that analysts expect Apple to oversee a better sales performance this year if the global economy slips towards a recession. “Apple focuses on the high-end smartphone market, and analysts believe inflation in core commodities such as food and fuel will have less of an impact on Apple's relatively affluent user base,” says the report.

Demand for Apple's iPhone has been at an all-time high. The iPhone 13, despite lacking some of the advanced features from rival Android flagships and being almost a year old, continues to sell in high numbers.

What remains to be seen is whether Apple's expectations actually see the light of the day. Rumours of the iPhone 14 series have painted a grim picture for Apple fans. The standard iPhone 14 is said to use the same A15 Bionic chip as the iPhone 13, may retain the same design, and could gain a high refresh rate display of 90Hz. And, Apple may be charging a $100 more for these minor upgrades, owing to the rising costs. The iPhone 14 Plus/Max will be a entry that offers a 6.7-inch display to more people.
