iQOO is bringing the iQOO Neo 6 to India! Yes, iQOO has avoided the NEO series in India for a long time and now, it is bringing the same to India. Based on information from our sources, iQOO is bringing the NEO series to India and the first phone to launch in this series is the iQOO Neo 6 – a phone that recently launched in global markets. And, we also know something about the price.

The iQOO Neo 6 is said to carry a price somewhere between Rs. 30,000 and Rs. 35,000. “The series will focus on all round flagship level experience with high performance and gaming features,” says our source. Additionally, the model that is coming to India will be a different one from the one that launched in global markets.

Sadly, we couldn't get to know the exact launch date and the India-specific specifications for the iQOO Neo 6. However, we don't expect it to be vastly different from the global model. In the past, iQOO models for India usually see some kind of spec downgrade to keep the price low.

Note that the global variant is based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and we could expect iQOO to use the slightly older Snapdragon 888, or possibly one of MediaTek's Dimensity 8000, or 9000 chipset on duty here. Consider that the price will be somewhere between Rs. 30,000-35,000, a segment where the iQOO 9 SE already sits at the moment. Since iQOO couldn't bring a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip at the same price, the iQOO Neo 6 could most likely offer a Dimensity chip, or an equivalent Snapdragon chip. Or, iQOO could bring the Snapdragon 870-equipped iQOO Neo 6 SE.

The iQOO Neo 6 in global markets offers a 6.6-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a 4700mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging. The camera setup on the rear consists of a 64MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP third camera. The front camera will come with a 16MP camera sensor.

What remains to be seen is whether the iQOO Neo 6 replaces the iQOO 9 SE, or does it undercut the price of the SE variant.
