iQoo is working on a cheaper version of its Z1 5G smartphone. Dubbed as Z1X, the new phone is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor.

According to GSMArena, iQoo Z1X will be released later this month. It is going to be available in China initially. There is no word on when the phone will be released in other markets.

Leaked AnTuTu benchmarks reveal the Snapdragon version delivers about 15% to 20% lower performance than the Z1 which runs on MediaTek's Dimensity 1000+ processor.

The phone has four rear cameras including a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, 2-megapixel sensor, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
