JioPhone Next price: Reliance Jio's next smartphone, the JioPhone Next, supposedly the cheapest 4G smartphone in the world, is scheduled to launch on September 10. The JioPhone Next is being made in a partnership with Google and runs Android One. While we already know that the JioPhone Next is going to be very cheap to buy, according to reports, Reliance Jio wants to give buyers a whole number of options. In fact, one of the options available may set the JioPhone Next price as low as 500. JioPhone Next pre-booking is likely to start soon.

As we've reported earlier, Reliance Jio has partnered with a bunch of Indian banks and lending partners to sell the JioPhone Next through different payment plans. These banks and lending partners include the State Bank of India, Piramal Capital, IDFC First Assure, DMI Finance, and others. Reliance plans to sell 50 million units over the next six months from the time the JioPhone Next launches so it is not surprising that they have some different sales plans in mind.

While you can always buy the JioPhone Next by paying the whole amount at one go, there are also other sales models that are going to be available where you can make a fraction of the payment first and get the device, and then pay the rest later. However, JioPhone Next pre-booking date has not been revealed yet, but will likely start soon.

According to reports, Reliance Jio is going to launch two JioPhone Next models - a basic one that's expected to cost 5,000 and the JioPhone Next Advanced that's expected to cost 7,000. In case you do not want to, don't pay the full amount for either phone at one go. You can pay just 10% of the total amount, 500 for the basic JioPhone Next and 700 for the Advanced model. The remaining amount will be paid back to the bank or the lending partner in installments over a stipulated time. Now, we don't know yet if this model will also include interests on installments being paid.

Reliance Jio has also partnered with non-banking finance companies (NBFCs) to offer customers options to avail credit while buying the JioPhone Next mobile. These credit support details are reportedly going to be worth 2,500 crore. This means that customers will be able to finance the JioPhone Next, but it will cost them a little more than the listed price. We also don't have much details regarding this as yet.
