Mid-budget 5G smartphones are becoming a common affair in India. Realme is already offering mid-budget 5G phones under its Narzo series and Motorola has its Edge series. In this segment, Indian smartphone maker Lava International recently launched its first 5G smartphone in India. The company launched the Lava Agni 5G in India at a price of INR 19,999 which recently went on sale via both online and offline channels. The Lava Agni 5G price is INR 19,999 in India for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The Lava Agni 5G is available for purchase in India via Amazon India, Flipkart, and offline channels. The phone was available for pre-bookings via Amazon India and the Lava e-store last week. Buyers who pre-booked the Lava Agni 5G smartphone were eligible to get a discount of INR 2,000, bringing down the effective price of the Lava Agni 5G smartphone to INR 17,999.

Lava Agni specifications

As far as the specifications are concerned, the newly launched Lava Agni 5G smartphone features a 6.78-inch full-HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a centre-placed hole-punch design. The Lava Agni 5G features a dual-SIM card slot and is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset that is coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. It runs on Google's Android 11 mobile OS.

Coming to the camera details, the Lava Agni 5G sports a quad-rear camera setup, which includes a 64MP primary sensor with an f/1.79 six-piece lens, a 5MP wide-angle sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, the Lava Agni 5G has a 16MP selfie shooter. Talking about connectivity, the newly launched Lava Agni 5G smartphone features support for 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. For security, the Lava Agni smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face recognition feature.

Lastly, the battery. The Lava Agni 5G is backed by a large 5,000mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging technology. Lava says that this battery can charge completely in less than 90 minutes.
