LG Velvet dual-screen smartphone available for pre-orders on Flipkart

LG Velvet with the dual-screen accessory can now be pre-ordered on Flipkart. The regular LG Velvet isn't up for sale yet.

LG Velvet launched in India earlier this month alongside the LG Wing. The dual-screen smartphone is now available to pre-order in India. There's no word on the availability of the T-shaped phone, LG Wing, yet.

LG Velvet can be pre-ordered from Flipkart with its sale date listed as November 12. This is the LG Velvet with the dual-screen accessory, and it's priced at ₹49,990. The regular LG Velvet with a single screen isn't up for pre-orders yet. The dual-screen smartphone comes in two colour options of Aurora Silver and New Black. There are some bank offers with up to 10% cashback that consumers can go for.

In terms of specs, LG Velvet features a 6.8-inch Full HD+ POLED display. The additional screen that comes with the phone also has a 6.8-inch display. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 processor instead of the Snapdragon 765G which is on the global variant. LG Velvet packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There's a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 2TB.

On the LG Velvet, there's a triple-camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone houses a 16-megapixel camera up front for selfies.

LG Velvet packs a 4,300mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ support. Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC and USB Type-C port. The smartphone is also IP68 rated, and has MIL-STD-810G certification. On the software front, LG Velvet runs on Android 10 out-of-the-box.
