Micromax In series specs leaked ahead of launch

Micromax will be launching its In-series smartphones in India on November 3. Ahead of the launch, numerous reports have detailed features and specifications of the company's upcoming series of smartphones.

As per a report by GizChina, Technical Guruji in an interview with Microsoft co-founder Rahul Sharma gave a glimpse of the company's upcoming smartphone series. For starters, the In series smartphones will come in two colour variants -- Blue and White. We don't know if the upcoming smartphone series will be available in other colour variants as well.

In addition to that, we know that Micromax's In series smartphones will come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor with a glass coating, which seems to be similar to the other mid-range smartphones that we have seen this year. The phone has a vertically placed rectangular camera module placed at the upper left corner of the back. From the images, it seems that the In-series smartphones will come with a quad rear camera setup with an LED flash.

As far as the display is concerned, the phone will come with a punch-hole display wherein the selfie camera is placed in the centre of the screen. A tweet shared by Micromax further seems to confirm this.

As far as other specifications are concerned, the upcoming In series is expected to feature a 6.5-inch HD+ display and be powered by MediaTek's Helio G35 chipset. The phone is tipped to come in two storage variants -- 2GB+32GB and 3GB+32GB -- with a 5,000mAh battery.

In terms of the camera, the base model is expected to sport a dual-camera setup with a 13MP + 2MP camera setup at the back and an 8MP selfie camera. The 3GB variant, on the other hand, this one will come with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 13MP + 5MP + 2MP camera setup. On the front, the phone is expected to get a 13MP selfie camera.
