Motorola on Monday officially announced the launch of Moto G 5G in India. Touted as India's most affordable 5G ready phone, Moto G 5G is available for ₹20,999. The company said that Moto G 5G is “100% made in India.”
Motorola has also introduced a few offers with the new handset. The company is offering an instant discount of ₹1,000 via HDFC Bank cards (debit and credit cards). The phone will go on sale starting December 7 12noon onwards exclusively via Flipkart. Moto G 5G comes in Volcanic Grey and Frosted Silver colour options.
“The moto g 5G comes with support for 11 Global 5G Network Bands which ensures that you are ready for any Sub 6 5G Band that is launched in India. The moto g 5G is also compatible with most Sub 6 bands available globally, ensuring that you are truly global-ready!,” said the company in a release.

“Plus the moto g 5G comes with 4X4 MIMO & Carrier Aggregation support that ensures blazing-fast network performance and the fastest possible data speeds,” it added.

Moto G5 5G Specifications
Moto G 5G comes with a 6.7-inch Max Vision HDR 10 display with 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 750G processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB built-in storage. It also houses a microSD card slot that supports expandable storage up to 1TB. The phone runs on a 5,000mAh battery with TurboPower 20W charging support.
In the photography department, Moto G 5G has as many as three rear cameras -- 48-megapixel f/1.7 primary sensor an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies, Moto G 5G comes with a 16-megapixel punch-hole camera.
In terms of connectivity, it supports 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone also houses a rear-facing fingerprint sensor. It has IP52 certification for dust protection. On the software front, it runs near-stock Android 10 out-of-the-box. It also comes with My UX, which brings customisable Moto features. There is also a dedicated button to launch Google Assistant.
