Motorola’s Moto G 5G will launch in India today. Here are key specifications, top features, and expected price of what’s being touted as India’s most affordable 5G ready phone.

Motorola will launch a new handset in India today. Touted as India’s most affordable 5G ready phone, Moto G 5G will be available online via Flipkart. The phone will be officially launched at 12 noon today.

Motorola had launched Moto G 5G globally earlier this month. In Europe, the phone is priced at Eur 299.99 ( 26,200 approximately). In India, the phone is likely to be available in the same price vicinity. It comes in Volcanic Grey and Frosted Silver colour options.

Moto G 5G specifications, features

The smartphone looks identical to Moto G9 Power with a punch-hole screen. The back panel houses a small square-like camera module. On the front, it has a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display with 394ppi pixel density.

The smartphone packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB built-in storage. It also comes with a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB.

The back-camera setup has as many as three sensors - 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies, Moto G 5G offers a 16-megapixel punch-hole camera.

The smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 20W TurboPower fast charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.

The smartphone also has a rear-facing fingerprint sensor. It comes with IP52 certification for dust protection. On the software front, it runs near-stock Android 10 out-of-the-box. It also comes with My UX, which brings customisable Moto features.
