New Telegram video stickers, emoji and a few other features have been rolled out to users today. This was courtesy the latest Telegram update - 8.5 version. The new version is available for both iPhone as well as Android phone users. The new version brought a bunch of interesting features including easy-to-make video stickers, better reactions with compact animations, extra emoji and many more. The features have been introduced to improve the user experience and give them more options to express themselves. Here are all the features rolled out in Telegram 8.5 version.
Telegram has introduced a video sticker feature that allows users to convert stickers from regular videos. Creating these stickers requires experience and specialized software like Adobe Illustrator. However, the Telegram is giving flexibility to the users for creating their own pack of stickers from regular videos by using any video editing program. Users will also be able to publish your packs with the @Stickers bot – or add the new sets made by others. Further developers can also use the Sticker Import API to develop powerful apps for creating and importing stickers to Telegram.
Reaction and Interactive Emoji
Telegram has also added better reactions and interactive emojis by using compact animations. Users can send a larger effect, by pressing and holding on a reaction in the menu. The interactive emojis are also synchronized, and the recipients will get to see the animations in real time. Tapping on the animated emoji will unleash a synchronized fullscreen effect. Additionally, the new update has also brought 5 new reaction emoji that can be accessed via full screen effect.
Navigating Recent Chats
The app has made it easier to jump through unread channels or move between chats. Users can return to a specific chat by pressing and holding the 'Back' button. Navigating through chats has also become easy through opening chats from forwarded messages, links, usernames, profiles, etc.
Bug Busting and More
The new update also fixes the known issues in Telegram apps. It has improved call quality, added support for translation to Instant View pages (and bios on iOS), and the option to send silent messages from the sharing menu.
Moreover, the app has rolled out new animations on iPhone which users can access by tapping icons in the tab bar.
