Oppo has launched the Oppo Reno 6 Pro and the Oppo Reno 6, two new 5G enabled smartphones, in India today. Featuring specs like the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 and the Dimensity 900, the company has brought camera features like Bokeh Flare Portrait video modes and better lighting and low light performance. The devices come with support for fast charging at up to 65W, improved gaming software features and sensors on the front and back for 360-degree light sensing.

The Oppo Reno 6 Pro and Reno 6 devices feature the Diamond Spectrum design that the company introduced with the launch of the Oppo Reno 5, on the Aurora colour variant, while the Stellar Black variant of the device comes with the company's Oppo Reno Glow effect.

At the launch event, the company revealed that the Oppo Reno 6 Pro will be available in Aurora and Stellar Black colour variants and will retail for ₹39,990. Meanwhile, the Oppo Reno 6 will be sold with the same colour variants and will retail for ₹29,990. The Oppo Reno 6 Pro will be available from Oppo's e-store, Flipkart and offline retail channels, while the Oppo Reno 6 will be sold exclusively on Flipkart. The company says that both devices will be available starting July 20.

The Oppo Reno 6 will be powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor and sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED display that also refreshes at 90Hz with a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. On the camera front, the Oppo Reno 6 comes with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide angle lends and a 2MP macro camera, along with colour temperature sensors. On the front of the device is a 32MP selfie camera located in a punch hole on the display.

The Oppo Reno 6 also runs on the company's ColorOS 11.3 skin which is based on Android 11 and comes in a single 8GB/128GB RAM and storage variant. It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and weighs around 182gms. It is equipped with a 4,300mAh battery and can be charged at up to 65W with the in-box SuperVOOC 2.0 charger.
