Phones launching in February 2022! There are plenty coming our way. After a fairly busy January, smartphone manufacturers are coming back with a slew of launches across all price points. The biggest launch of the year from Samsung is happening in February 2022 – the Galaxy S22 Ultra is going to be the biggest announcement of the year with its Galaxy Note DNA. Other than Samsung, there are some high profile launches from other brands also happening.
Within this week, it is Oppo starting the month with the Reno 7 and Reno 7 Pro. In the coming weeks, it will be Samsung taking charge with the Galaxy S22 series, followed by the Redmi Note 11 series and Vivo T1 5G. A couple of unconfirmed launches are also coming in from iQOO and Infinix later this month.

Note that some of the launch dates are yet to be revealed/confirmed.
Oppo Reno 7 series
The Oppo Reno 7 series is launching on February 4 and so far, the leaks have suggested two models with slightly different specifications. The Reno 7 is said to be based on the Reno 7 SE from China relying on a MediaTek chip whereas the Reno 7 Pro is expected to be the same phone ported from the Chinese market. The prices are expected to be on the same lines as the Reno 6 series from last year.
Realme 9 Pro series
The Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+ are launching soon in India, with Realme already teasing some aspects of the phones. The Realme 9 Pro+ will have a heart rate sensor embedded in the fingerprint sensor. Rumours also suggest a 90Hz AMOLED display, some high-end camera hardware, and a 5G chipset. The Realme 9 Pro is expected to feature a 120Hz LCD display, and a 4G-only chipset. Realme does not say anything about the Realme 9 yet.
Galaxy S22 series
Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy S22 series on February 9, and leaks have already revealed everything there is to know about these. The Galaxy S22 Ultra will have the S Pen integrated but get the S21 Ultra's rear camera system. The regular S22 and S22 Plus will retain similar design and specs from the Galaxy S21 series, with minor updates to cameras and chipset.
Redmi Note 11 series
The Redmi Note 11 series is also launching on February 9, with two models in the pipeline. There is a Redmi Note 11 with a Snapdragon 680 4G chip, while the Note 11S gets a Helio G96 chipset. Both phones are expected to get a 90Hz AMOLED display, 108MP main camera for the Note 11S, and come with MIUI 13 out of the box. No hints on the pricing yet.
Vivo T1 5G
Vivo is also launching its T1 5G on February 9. The Vivo T1 5G has been confirmed to get a waterdrop notch on the display, a gradient rear, a triple camera setup, and promising fast performance. Vivo is yet to confirm whether the T1 5G in India will be based on the Dimensity 700 series chipset or the Snapdragon 778G chipset.
iQOO 9, iQOO 9 Pro
The iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro are expected to break cover in India this month. iQOO's teaser confirms the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip for the iQOO 9 Pro, a 120W fast wired charging, a 4700mAh battery, and a dual X-axis linear vibration song. The iQOO 9 is expected to be a watered-down variant of the Pro model, relying on last year's Snapdragon 888 chipset.
Infinix Zero 5G

Infinix hasn't announced a date yet but the Zero 5G's specs have been leaked. The Zero 5G is said to rely on a Dimensity 900 chipset with 13 5G bands, a 48MP triple rear camera, XOS based on Android 11, 5000mAh battery, and a 33W fast charging support.
