Poco C3 smartphone India launch date announced
Although not much is known about the Poco C3, some preliminary leaks indicate the inclusion of 4GB RAM, 64GB inbuilt storage.
Poco, the company that launched it's mid-range X3 smartphone in India a few days ago, is now all set to launch the budget Poco C3. The company has dropped the first teaser for the handset launch on social media channels. On Twitter, the firm has not only confirmed the launch of Poco C3 in India but has also revealed the launch date and exclusive e-commerce tie-up website.
As per the tweet, the Poco C3 will be launching on October 6 at 12PM IST and will be made exclusively available via Flipkart. The short video also shows four camera lenses in the background, hinting that the device may just feature quad rear cameras.

Although not much is known about the Poco C3, some preliminary leaks indicate the inclusion of 4GB RAM, 64GB inbuilt storage and the variant costing around ₹10,000. It is also being called as the rebranded version of Redmi 9C.
Redmi 9C was launched globally back in July. However, it's India availability was not revealed.
The smartphone comes with a 6.53-inch HD+ display with a dot drop notch. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G35 chipset that is coupled with up to 3GB of RAM and up to 64GB of storage capacity that can be expanded further using a 512GB microSD card. It runs on Android 10-based MIUI 11 and it comes with a 5,000mAh battery.
On the camera front, the Redmi 9C consists of a triple rear camera setup including a 13-megapixel primary lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front it has a 5-megapixel selfie camera. It has AI face unlock technology for security and it comes with a 3.5mm jack for connectivity.
