Poco X3 Pro inches closer to the official launch, new leak reveals

Poco is working on a Pro version of its Poco X3. Dubbed as Poco X3 Pro, the smartphone has been detailed in multiple leaks so far. Now, leakster Abhishek Yadav has spotted the 4G version of the upcoming phone on the NBTC certification website. The listing suggests the official launch is closer.

According to the leakster, Poco X3 Pro is seen carrying model number M2102J20SG. The listing does not reveal anything else. Before this, Poco X3 Pro has appeared on certification websites in other markets such as the FCC (US) and Eurasian Economic Commission (Russia). It has also been spotted at the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) of Singapore, reports Gizmochina. A recent BIS certification suggests the phone will be available in India as well.

According to rumours so far, Poco X3 Pro will reportedly run Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 processor. The smartphone will also come with a 48-megapixel quad-rear camera.

Poco X3: A quick recap

Poco X3 had launched in India in September last year. The smartphone is available in three combinations - 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+128GB. The variants are priced at ₹16,999, ₹18,499 and ₹19,999, respectively.

The handset comes with a 6.67-inch display with 2340x1080 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. On the software front, it runs on Android 10-based MIUI 12 operating system.

For performance, Poco X3 has Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 732G processor. It houses a 6,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

In the photography department, it offers an AI quad-camera setup. The phone has a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 13-megapixel wide-angle sensor, 2-megapixel macro sensor, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone comes with a 20-megapixel front-facing camera.

Other top features of Poco X3 are side-mounted fingerprint sensor, P2i splash and dust-resistant coating, and AI Face Unlock. The smartphone comes in Shadow Gray and Cobalt Blue colour options.
