At a time when most smartphone companies like Apple, Samsung, and Oppo, among others, are opting for a flat screen for their phones under the mid-range segment, Realme with its 10 Pro+ 5G comes with a curved display and that too under Rs. 26000. Curved display is nothing new, however, it is mostly being offered in the premium phones like the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, Google Pixel 7 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, among others. Realme has also tried to grab eyeballs by offering the 10+ Pro 5G a shimmery and attractive design along with several other exciting features. With so much already said, here are my first impressions of this beautiful-looking feature-rich smartphone.

Being a mid-range segment phone, the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G comes with an attractive design which is termed as "Hyperspace" design by the company. You will also be able to see the prism acceleration pattern on the phone. To house the lenses, Realme has opted for the classic twin-lens reflex (TLR) camera design on the back, which adds to its beauty. The Realme 10 Pro+ is light (173 g) and thin (7.78 mm) making it very comfortable to hold and use. However, the back panel does attract smudges and finger impressions.

The Realme 10 Pro+ 5G brings a curved display to the masses at an affordable rate. The device holds a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with amazingly slim bezels (2.33mm narrow chin bezel) and a refresh rate of 120Hz. I have been using the device for a week now and the experience has been fun. The display is smooth and feels flawless while scrolling. From binge-watching to playing games, everything seemed great as of yet. You may get annoyed with the preloaded apps and bloatware on the phone. Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080 5G Chipset, the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G, promises to offer a great performance experience with Realme UI 4.0 on top of Android 13. And with my experience of using the phone for a week, it can be said that the phone manages to handle every task with ease without showing any sign of lag.

Talking about the cameras, the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup, featuring a 108MP main camera along with 8MP and 2MP camera lenses. At the front, you get a 12MP selfie camera. I loved the performance of the rear camera, especially when it comes to night photography. However, the front camera did beautify the selfies. Overall, all I can reveal for the time being is that the camera performance is pretty satisfactory!

Moving to the battery life, the 10 Pro+ 5G is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and gets the support of the 67W dart charging solution. The battery backup provided by the phone is amazing and it also charges fast- all that I can reveal as of now!

With the price starting at Rs. 24999, the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G seems to be a promising smartphone. It has an attractive unique design and is packed with a great display, good battery, decent camera, and much more. However, it has been only a week since I have been using the phone and it is too early to pass a verdict as of now.
