Realme 9i LEAKS! Looks a lot like Realme GT Neo 2

The Realme 9 series is expected to launch in the next few months and this time, there are four models expected to arrive. The Realme 9 and Realme 9 Pro are expected to succeed the current gen models whereas the Realme 9 Pro+ is expected to come up with a higher tier chip. The Realme 9i could be the entry-level model and leaks have now revealed a few details.

The Realme 9i renders reveal a design similar to the Realme GT Neo 2 that launched a few months ago. It appears to have a similar triple camera design and an edge-to-edge display. The only change appears to be a new texture on the rear.

The Realme 9i also appears to have a power key mounted fingerprint sensor. The leak, which comes from OnLeaks and 91Mobiles, does not confirm whether this will be an AMOLED or LCD display. Rumours have it that it will be a 1080p display with a refresh rate of 90Hz.

The Realme 9i is also expected to rely on the Snapdragon 680 4G chipset and a 5000mAh battery. Of the three cameras on the rear, the main sensor is expected to get a 50MP sensor but other sensors are still unknown.

On the whole, the Realme 9i appears to be wearing a new familiar design that was introduced by the Realme GT Neo 2. Hence, we can expect the rest of the Realme 9 series models to wear a design largely similar to this one. Realme is yet to confirm any of this officially, hence, you should take all of this with a pinch of salt.

With the Redmi Note 11 series already available in China and a global launch expected in early 2022, Realme would like to launch the Realme 9 series before that.
