Realme C25Y priced at ₹10,999 on launch in India: Check specs and availability

Realme today launched a new budget smartphone in India. The newly launched smartphone is called the Realme C25Y and it joins the league of other C-series smartphones in India including the Realme C21Y, the Realme C11 2021, and the Realme C25s among others. Realme C25Y price is ₹10,999. One of the noteworthy features of the Realme C25Y smartphone is its 50MP primary camera. Realme says that its newly launched Realme C25Y is the first C-series smartphone to feature a 50MP camera. In the budget smartphone market, the Realme C25Y competes with the likes of the Tecno Pova 2, Vivo Y12G, the Oppo A15s, and the Poco M3 among others.

The Realme C25Y comes in Glacier Blue and Metal Grey colour variants. While the variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space costs ₹10,999 in India, the variant with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space is priced at ₹11,999 in India.

The pre-booking for the Realme C25Y starts from 12PM on September 20 and its first sale will take place at 12PM on September 27 via realme.com, Flipkart and mainline channels.

As far as the features are concerned, the Realme C25Y comes with a 6.5-inch display with a 88.7% screen to body ratio. It comes with a mini-drop notch on top and an ultra-fast fingerprint sensor on top. Coming to the processing power, the Realme C25Y is powered by an octa-core 12nm Unisoc T610 processor that clocks up to 1.8GHz speed. It comes with an ARM Mali G52 GPU with a clock speed of 614.4MHz. This setup is coupled with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage space. The Realme C25Y supports two Nano-SIM cards and a MicroSD card slot for additional storage up to 256GB.

Coming to the camera, the Realme C25Y comes with a triple rear camera setup that is placed inside a square-shaped camera module. It consists of a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP B&W sensor and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, the Realme C25Y features an 8MP selfie camera.

Lastly, the battery, the Realme C25Y comes with a 5,000mAh battery with support for Super Power Saving Mode. The realme C25Y also comes with a Screen Battery Optimization feature that increases the smartphone's endurance by lowering some display effects and Sleep Standby Optimization to save power by instructing the phone to run on lower mode when users are asleep.
