Realme GT Neo 3 to get some “Thor love”, will feature his hammer on the back

Realme is one of the very few smartphone makers who loves to create special edition phones frequently. While most of them are limited to China and other countries, Realme is now bringing one to India. It is called (be prepared for it) Realme GT Neo 3 Thor Love and Thunder Limited Edition. Phew! This is a result of the collaboration between Realme and Marvel Studios in order to celebrate the release of the latest Marvel superhero movie Thor Love and Thunder. The release will happen on July 7 alongside the movie's release date.

The teasers shared on social media suggest that the Realme GT Neo 3 Thor Love and Thunder Limited Edition will wear a special blue colour as well as a get a blue colored charging cable. Another social media teaser shows Thor's hammer on the rear full of colours. It remains to be seen whether this is inscribed on the phone, or is it just a case; and whether it is illuminated. Realme is yet to reveal anything else on this front.

Realme GT Neo 3 Thor Love and Thunder Limited Edition coming

Other than the customised exterior, Realme does not hint at any other change. The Realme GT Neo 3 Thor Love and Thunder Limited Edition is based on the Realme GT Neo 3 150W, which means it will get the superfast 150W wired charging solution. The phone could also feature the same Dimensity 8100 chipset that should offer the same kind of performance as the Snapdragon 888.

We had reviewed the Realme GT Neo 3 150W a few months ago and were left impressed by the overall performance and package. The phone had decent cameras, a good display, decent battery, super fast charging, and great gaming performance. The Realme GT Neo 3 is also available with a slower 80W charger that has a much lower starting price. Two colour variants of the Realme GT Neo 3 get a special racing stripe theme.

Rumours, on the other hand, talk about a Realme GT 2 Explorer Master Edition that will bring the first Realme smartphone with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. The Realme GT 2 Pro is currently the flagship offering from Realme, having the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip.
